EMILIANO ALONSO

Director and founding partner, Emiliano Alonso, is a lawyer specialized in EU law with a Masters in European law from the College of Europe in Bruges and a MBA from the Solvay Business School at the Université Libre de Bruxelles. He is also a member of the Spanish Bar Association of Madrid since 1987.
For 15 years (1986-2000) he was in charge of representing the High Council of Chambers of Commerce of Spain to the EU and to Eurochambers, which was the first Spanish lobby set up in Brussels in 1967. Furthermore, he is the author of “El lobby en la UE: manual sobre el buen uso de Bruselas” (ESIC Editorial 1995), the first manual on lobbying in the EU published in Spain. In addition, he teaches courses in Universities and International Schools of Business and has written numerous articles published in prestigious journals such as “El País”, “Expansión” and “Cinco Días”.
