CRC-13 in Rome

Eiliano Alonso attends the thirteenth meeting of the Chemical Review Committee (CRC-13) of the Rotterdam Convention Prior Informed Consent (PIC) Procedure for Certain Hazardous Chemicals and Pesticides in International Trade. FAO Headquarters in Rome host CRC-13 beetween 23 and 27 October.

The Chemical Review Committee will recommend to the Conference of the Parties (COP9) the inclusion of new chemicals in the PIC list -which requires contries’ prior consent before importing chemicals-.
